Former Publisher, Mazen Kherdeen, an Arab American, Jeffersonian in his belief of the First Amendment Freedom of Speech and Expression. He immigrated to the USA in 1981 from England for his strong belief of the First Amendment.
He is a son of a 1948 Palestinian Refugees' family. He was born in a "shack" - a home with no doors or windows installed and dirt floor since his parents could not afford it at the time. In contrast, his family had lived in a beach front home in one of the the oldest on going port cities in the world, Jaffa (Arabic: Yafa; Hebrew: Yafo; Latin: Joppa; Now: Tel Aviv-Jaffa) before his uncle was shot dead by the Israeli Hagana Extremists in 1948. That caused his family to become refugees for their fear of being killed by the Israelis.
With advanced education, hard work and persistence, Mazen lifted himself up to become an influential Arab American. From being born in a shack, he lived in a Mansion at the exclusive Cherry Hills Village in the Metro Denver, Colorado area. In 2020, after 25 years of being the Publisher and Editor-In-Chief, Mazen Kherdeen handed over the Publishing and Editorial to Samiha Badran who is now the President and Editor-In-Chief.
Jim is also the founder of the
"Mug Shot Comedy Club".
